State House Rally for Palestine
Vermont Coalition for Palestinian Liberation
“Israel has declared total war against the people of Gaza with the full military, economic, and diplomatic support of the U.S. While the U.S. government denies its own citizens access to healthcare, climate disaster relief, education, and more, it is sending billions of dollars of aid and military supplies to Israel. Already, Israel has used that to kill and wound tens of thousands of Palestinians and displace more than one million from their homes. It has destroyed schools, hospitals, mosques, churches, and civilian housing in flagrant violation of international law, and has also carried out attacks in the West Bank and the surrounding region. We must stand with Palestinians in their struggle for liberation.”

Here in the US a resurgent labor movement has come out in solidarity with Palestinians. Many unions have passed resolutions calling for a ceasefire and condemning Israel’s assault on Gaza. These developments are encouraging but there is much more that can be done. Join us on December 5th for a panel discussion about the importance of the labor movement in the fight for Palestinian liberation.”

As anti-Zionist Jews, we call on allies to gather and loudly advocate for immediate and permanent ceasefire.
We will light candles, sing, mourn, and organize, and we invite community members to bring menorahs and candles, warm layers, posters and signs, songs, instruments, and latkes, sufganiyot, or juice to share.”
