Federal Building
11 Elmwood Ave
Burlington VT
“Mahmoud Khalil is a student organizer and political prisoner, who was kidnapped from his Columbia University housing by DHS agents on Saturday and is facing deportation in a brazen revenge attack for his role in organizing anti-genocide protests. This attack is a major escalation in repression against not just the Palestine solidarity movement but all political dissent against Donald Trump’s fascist takeover of the U.S. government. Khalil’s abduction cannot be separated from the genocide he was abducted for organizing against. The US empire, in a bid to protect its imperialist interests in the Middle East, is liquidating its own legal framework to continue committing genocide and crush opposition to it. The time to fight back is now. Tomorrow, on the day of Mahmoud’s preliminary hearing, we mobilize to demand the immediate release of Mahmoud.”
